Giani Jagjit Singh Sidki, who had been a celebrated scholar, noted
Raagi, prominent author & eminent preacher, had felt that
there was sheer paucity of Preachers & Raagis high caliber
in Guru Panth in comparison to other religions or faiths.
After sharing this factual problem with congregations, comprising
his fellow scholars, Raagis ,teachers & Preachers
threadbare, & as also to enable the Khalsa shining in rising
spirit (chardi kala) always he, with incessant co-operation
of one & all, founded Gurmat Gian Trust 1996 & also established
Gurmat Gian Missionary College at Ludhiana. This Gurmat
educational Institution , of which he had been the founder
principal, has been continuously progressing by leaps & bounds by
producing competent & qualified preachers, teachers & Raagis,
who are rendering invaluable services to human mankind while keeping
the sacred principles of Sri Akal Takhat Sahib aloft.
AIMS & OBJECTIVES
- To
infuse true spirit of Guru Granth Sahib & Rehat Maryada prescribed
by Sri Akal Takhat Sahib.
- To
impart basics of Gurmat education, English , General Knowledge &
Computer.
- To
prevent younger generation from drug addiction & to make efforts to
curb in them anti social vices.
- To
propagate ethics of Amrit sanchaar .
- To publish Gurmat Literature.

To identify so called lowly castes youngsters & inculcate in
them the Gurmat way of living.

To provide qualified Missionaries, Kirtanias & Preachers in
service of humanity.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
At
present 9th batch, comprising over 100 students, of
students is undergoing training (Diploma Course of Two & half year
span ) in Gurmat education, viz., in-depth study of Guru Granth
Sahib , Sikh history on scientific basis , Gurmat Philosophy
& Sikh way of living. |
